• The video cuts to the beat of the song
• Breaks the rule of continuity
• There's some obvious edits in the second verse where I added a cross fade effect, also added slow motion to the footage with the smoke and at the end of the video.
• There are a lot of jump cuts
• Camera movement in time with the song
• And clear use of a lot of base tracks

ANDREW GOODWIN - 

• Amplification of the lyrics through the use of smoke links to the being 'High' 
• Repetition of clips throughout the video

LAURA MULVEY -

• Achieves the male gaze - female in little clothing 
• Artist portrays herself in a seductive and sexual way
• Dismembering of the female - the beginning shots have focus on her legs. The high angle of artist bring focus on her cleavage.
